TSUBA(plate): Alloy, The tsuba is used to protect your hand from sliding onto the blade during thrusts.
HABAKI(blade collar):is a one piece brass construction,there is engraving on the habaki of this sword. the main point of the habaki is to make the saya tight to the blade,so it is normal if there is scratch on.
SEPPAS(spacer):Two Seppas secure the Tsuba( if the tsuba is not so tight after a long time,you can disassemble the sword and put more seppas there.
HANDLE: Wide on the 2 ends,thin in the middle; Hardwood wrapped with blue silk ito. Fuchi&Kashira on the 2 ends of the handle.
SAGEO: Used to tie the sword on your waist as a belt in the old time,but now we usually tie on the saya as in the picture.
SAYA(scabbard): The saya (sheath) of the sword is made of hardwood .tied with Sageo on the Kurigaga (knob) of the scabbard.
BO-Hi:Usually Bo-hi added to the blade is to lighten it and provide audible feedback when swung•it is called Blood-Groove sometimes. This sword has bo-hi.
Full Tang: While it is common to find swords which have a rat tail tang (two pieces welded together)

This KATANA is hand forged and hand sharpened using Japanese methods to create a perfect blade. Fully functional and battle ready.
Materials And Way Of Forge:
Blade: The blade of the sword has been hand forged using the ancient method of sword making. Full hand forged, hand polished and hand sharpened.
The blade was made of 1095 high carbon steel, and it has been laminated in a Maru style with a clay temper line. A special clay is applied to the blade by hand, using a thin covering near the edge and a thicker layer over the rest of the blade. this results in a relatively quicker cooling of the edge during quenching, producing a hard edge and softer back. the beautiful real hamon on the blade is also result of the differential cooling of the blade (quenching and tempering).
This blade has a shape in "Unokubi-Zukuri" style, There is one big Hi (blood groove) on each side which is from Habaki to the middle of the blade, The thickness on the back becomes thinner from the half of the blade towards the tip, but the back turns to thick near the KISSAKI (tip). this not only allows for a lighter blade and audible feedback when swung. but also can balance the blade to achieve optimal performance.
blade has been hand polished with multiple grade sharpen stone by Japanese method,which made the surface of the blade like a mirror, the blade very sharp
